Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
Most of the buttons are 1.25” with 2 smaller. There are a pair for the “29th Division” with one also reading “The Hun Smashers.” This has pinpoint rub on lower edge but still displays glossy and Exc. There are 2 buttons for the “27th Division,” one in a darker red than the other and these seem to be at least from different printings rather than the result of any fading. There is one button from the “28th Div.” showing Pennsylvania Keystone. There are 2 buttons from the “42nd Div. Rainbow Division.” There are 2 buttons which show the Statue of Liberty from the “77th Div.,” the smaller has spotting on the rim edge. There are 3 buttons for the “78th Div.” including one with the slogan “The Fighting Demons.” There is one for the “79th Div.” and one generic with no division specified but from the town of “Millburn.” There are a pair of buttons from California. One specifies the 363rd along with 347th and is titled “Heroes Of The Argonne.” This has lt. spotting on the rim. The second from California reads “359th.” The last 2 buttons are generic “Welcome Home” although one of these does include a Pennsylvania Keystone design. Buttons all display Exc. with minor exceptions as noted.
