Item Description
All c. 1920s-1930s. Sizes range from 4-5/8x6.75x1” deep to 10.5x12-7/8x1.25” deep. All feature choice graphics and all have inserts including hand-painted wooden noses and die-cut cardboard rings. Two are by Spears, London but made in Bavaria. Other 3 made in England with no manufacturer listed. Titles and conditions are: “Mrs. Grundy” – box Good, contents Fine; “Mike Murphy” – box Good, contents Fine; “Burlington Bertie” – box Fine, contents VG; “Weary Willie” – box Good, contents Fine; “Pat’s The Bhoy” (anti-Irish) – lid Good, contents Fine with repaired nose. Pat’s game has lid graphics of him dressed like a leprechaun dancing and inside has graphics of him with big mouth holding pipe in left and sheleigh in right hand. Wonderful designs.
