Item Description
6.5x9.25x11” tall cardboard box has nice graphics of smiling Donald using skis on 5 sides. c. mid-1950s. Box is lightly but evenly tanned. Overall aging but clean, tight and Fine/VF. Contains 10.75” tall hard plastic figure of Donald on woodgrain finished tin litho skis holding metal ski with plastic tip in left hand. Right side has built-in, wind-up key. Old store stock. Metal fatigue has caused loss of one ski pole and disintegration of “on/off” switch lever, so toy can no longer be operated. Displays Exc. Box includes contest price sheet to win a trip to Disneyland by writing a jingle with expiration date of Jan. 14, 1956. Sheet is tanned and has a few lt. bends. Fine. Box and toy have great design.
