Item Description
This is only the 4th seen in 44 years and our Hake Collection example in Auction #183 realized $2,938.88. This wonderful 1.25” portrait button shows her posing between stage curtains as if making her debut and, in fact, this button likely dates from the time of her first appearance in 1931. Made by Parisian Novelty with their name on the curl. Lower right includes small copyright symbol and “Fleischer Studios.” Lower right bkg. has single tiny gray dot plus a barely discernable 1/16” gray dot showing on her left knee. Button has full gloss and perfect centering. Extremely fine and displaying N. Mint. A gem among comic character rare buttons.
