Item Description
We’ve seen only a couple of these giant buttons which have a reverse bar pin and fold-out cardboard easel. All have been dated between 1965 and 1970 and this one carries text “Simon Simple Orig. Orange, N.J. ©1966 By United Feature Syndicate, Inc./Peanuts Characters From The Peanuts®Comic Strip By Charles M. Schulz.” Button shows Charlie Brown and Linus beneath the text “I’ve Developed A New Philosophy…I Only Dread One Day At A Time!” Button shows st. general surface wear, mostly just in reflected light but a tiny bit of air is visible along its upper edge. Only example we’ve seen of this design.
