Item Description
14" wide by 19" long, 22" from bottom of stirrup to saddle horn. Heavy well made leather w/7" tall image of Lone Ranger and Silver pressed into each side. Image and name in white w/additional text "© TLR Inc." Front of each stirrup has metal accents in the form of "LR." Metal accents appear around all of saddle skirt and both side fenders. Leather is tooled on seat and front area by horn. Leather appears a bit rough or textured in a 3x4" area on left side of horn but is same color as the rest of the leather and does not detract from this well made item. On the area just behind the seat is a 2x2.5" panel sewn into the back center w/"054" pressed into it. Unknown if this number represents the number of saddles that had been made up to this point or not. Underside of saddle has partially worn felt covering the padded area but does not affect display. Two 2.5" dia. metal rings appear on either side to the front of the seat where strap would have been attached when placing saddle on pony. Very nicely made. Other than wear on felt underside and lt. oxidation on some of the metal highlights, saddle appears to be very well made and VF. c. 1940s.
