In addition to prints featuring his iconic “Falling Man” armless figure and his sculptures, in the late 60s Trova produced what he called his “Index.” This was a series of boxed art works which included these three 1.5” buttons which were produced in extremely limited quantities. Trova personally gave Ted Hake these buttons and they were then included in Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Artists Section #42-43-44. Each is in essentially Mint condition. Trova was among Hake’s very first customers and his interests in symbols and particularly characters inspired our own interests in that direction. Ernest Trova passed away in 2009 at age 82.
