Item Description
This beautifully designed badge is 7” tall. It features a brass bar pin with celluloid insert reading “Delegate” which does show light all-over tanning. Suspended below and designed like a strip of 35mm film with sprocket holes indicated up and down each side with a rivet at its bottom holding an aluminum piece designed as one side of a film reel. The reel is 2.25” in dia. and has just a few small areas where the shiny luster has dulled. The ribbon has one crease across the lower portion but o/w is extremely Fine with no tears. Text reads top to bottom “First Annual Convention/Motion Picture Exhibitors’/League Of America/Oregon Branch/Portland Oregon/Dec. 22-23/1913.” The earliest movie industry badge we’ve ever offered. From the Morry Greener Collection.
