Set of six issued by Bond Bread. 1939-1940. All are 8 pages. First two measure 8x10.75" with black and white illustrations. Remaining four are 7.5x10" with color illustrations. Each has various articles, stories, jokes, cartoons, games and activities. Each is printed on newsprint "For Members Of The Bond Bread Lone Ranger Safety Club." Vol. 1, No. 1 has tanning, fold lines as mailed. VG. Vol. 1, No. 2 tanning. Center fold. VG. Vol. 1, No. 3 has great ad on back for Lone Ranger radio by Pilot. Fine. Vol. 2, No. 1 slightest aging. Exc. Vol. 2, No. 2 with different radio ad. Light tanning. VG. Last is Vol. 2, No. 3 with ad for hardwood plaque with full color picture of The Lone Ranger and Silver. Top margin tears with tape repair. Fine. Rarely offered as a complete set.
