Ring card (see previous item) is 3.25x5-1/8” double sheet of cardboard with front photo of Gene displaying the ring on one hand and with text below “Wear My Horseshoe Nail Ring For Good Luck/Gene Autry” along with his Flying A logo. Reverse of the cardboard has text and story from Gene stating that “This Little Horseshoe Nail Ring From Champion And Me Has A Special Spot In My Affections…” Text relates how Gene received one of these rings from an Oklahoma Indian chief who considered a horseshoe nail ring better than gold and certain to bring luck. Front of the card had a small loop to hold the ring in position and this small piece is gone but the rest of the card remains Exc. with just a tiny bit of dust wear on the back panel. With this item comes a 2-5/16x4” ticket titled “Gene Autry & Champion In Person In The Hit Show Of 1959.” Event was held in Albany, NY at Hawkins Stadium Aug. 21-22.
