Item Description
In 1938 Madame Alexander produced 16 different Disney character marionettes. This Mickey is 9” tall. Complete with wood/metal wire controller unit. Painted composition head, hands and feet over wood body and elastic legs. Fabric outfit. Has stitched tag on back of shirt reading “Walt Disney’s Marionettes Mickey Mouse By Madame Alexander.” Trace of aging to outfit. Tiny scattered traces of paint wear. Fine. All marionettes in this series are Scarce. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
