Item Description
3x9x4.25” tall die-cut thin cardboard box with carrying handle contains complete and unused set by Globe-Union Inc., 1950s. Four side panels of box feature image of Mickey roller skating, top pictures the badge which is included with set. Box has color rubs around edges with a few lt. creases here and there. Trace of scattered surface wear but overall bright and Fine. Remarkable when you take into account the heavy roller skates it contains which could easily destroy the box. Each roller skate is 2.5x7x3.5” deep with metal body and wheels, leather straps and flaps which cover the toes and feature Mickey portrait and name. Top of heels also have Mickey portrait sticker. Skates are unused and have never been assembled, come with separate pair of shoe laces. Final item is 1.25x2.25” tin litho tab featuring “Mouseketeers” Mickey portrait logo plus title “Safety Skater Badge.” Tab remains unbent. Set is essentially Mint as issued. Rare, especially complete and in this condition.
