Auction #201 - Part II
Item numbers 1409 through 3152 in auction 201
Item Description
6” tall. 1930s with Disney copyright on back. Great depiction of long billed Donald with head turned to one side and pile of gold coins in front of him. Coin slot on back, underside is missing the trap. Small scattered traces of paint wear but about 90% remains. Appearance remains clean. All is structurally sound and overall still a VF example. Among the rarest of all Disney banks. This item was very susceptible to metal fatigue and paint wear which makes this example all the more extraordinary. We have only offered a couple of these in our 44 years and this is by far the best condition example we have ever seen. From the Bruce Cervon Collection.
