Item Description
4” tall. Japan, 1930s. Incised number on back “S1489.” Nice long-billed Donald who holds a paintbrush in one hand and paint can in the other. Moderate scattered traces of paint wear but more so on back than front. Fine. One of the rarest 1930s bisques. Previous examples in better condition have sold between $900 and $1500.
