15.5” tall stuffed felt. c. 1938. Hat brim has initials “HMAS” for "Her Majesty’s Australian Ship", the designation of any Australian warship as well as many minor naval bases. Moderate scattered aging and some small traces of wear to the felt. Slight trace of fading, mostly to hat. Fine.
