Lot consists of two rings and two boxes. First is 1949 premium ring w/brass base. Has "RR" intials on one side and image of "Trigger" on the other side. Top has brass plate w/pair of hinged red plastic segments, each holding a tiny lens and these segments fold upward to form a magnifying glass. Once the segments are lifted a small image of Roy is stamped on the interior of the brass frame. Outstanding, N. Mint example w/bright luster. Comes w/4" dia. by 7.25" tall cardboard container w/paper litho wrapper. To left side of standard "Mothers Oats" label is large yellow/red detailed offer for ordering "Roy Rogers Microscope Ring." Illustrations and text take up a 5" wide area w/bright yellow/red highlights. Lightly aged w/minor wear. Label is tight and 95% intact. Fine. Next is 1948 brass ring from Quaker w/raised images of Roy and Trigger on side bands. Top has horseshoe design w/brass bracket holding black metal miniature branding iron. Roy's initials are on the end cap and this pulls off to reveal a frosted plastic insert featuring the initial "C" within a circle. Cap that pulls off has an ink pad on its interior. Bright gold luster remains. Extremely clean and bright. Exc. Last is 5.25" dia. by 9.5" tall cardboard container w/wrap-around paper label for "Mothers Oats" and has a 6" wide top to bottom illustrated offer for the "Branding Iron" ring. Red printing on upper portion of premium offer is faded, blue printing remains legible. Yellow/red area to right of instructions remains bright. Label is aged but 95% complete. Container is sturdy w/original lid. Fine. Nice group. Overall boxes are Fine, rings are Exc.
