Item Description
As with many Marx playsets, there were several different varieties of this set issued. 1950s and as indicated on one side panel, this is set #4349. 11x28.5x3” deep box contains complete and very nicely designed set. Lt. box wear/aging. VF. Set features an exceptionally colorful 3-piece tin litho stage which has never been assembled. This includes “curtain” section with comedy/tragedy masks represented by Mickey and Donald plus bkg. panel featuring story art illustrations of all the characters included in this set. The soft plastic figures include characters from Snow White, Pinocchio, Alice, Dumbo plus Mickey and Donald and their families. Peter Pan figures were added to later sets but this is earlier version and without these figures. Hard plastic accessory “Stage Props” include 2 story house fronts, Fireman’s safety net, banquet table, etc. Also includes script booklet, original instruction sheet and original bags which have typical wear. Set overall Exc. to Mint.
