Item Description
6.75x10.5” complete album consisting of 22 stiff paper pages plus front and back covers. These souvenir albums were obtained by redeeming coupons packed with cigarettes. ©1888 W. Duke Sons & Co. Lithographed by Knapp & Co., New York. Album features images from Series 1 and 2 cards “Costumes Of All Nations (Actors and Actresses).” Interspersed throughout are half and full page additional actress images including Lilly Langtry and Lillian Russell. Cover shows aging and wear including corner piece missing from front lower right and two back cover corner tips. Cover Good/VG. Pages have trace of margin aging but for the most part the choice art remains bright and clean. Pages VF.
