Eight issues, each 8.5x11” of “Phoenix’ Own Teen Happening Newspaper.” All are 1968 Vol. 1 issues, numbers are 1, 2, 4, 5, 8-11. First 2 issues are 4 pages, others are 8 pages. Features articles and photos of national and local acts, ads for their concerts in the Phoenix area, local business ads for music stores, clothing stores, etc. Cover photos include The Animals, Jefferson Airplane, Iron Butterfly, The Doors. Others featured within the issues include Cream, Moby Grape, early Alice Cooper appearance noting “Formerly The Nazz", Frank Zappa, Sonny & Cher, Donovan, many others. Issue #9 featuring The Doors on the front cover also has full page ad on back cover for their Nov. 7th concert at Arizona State Fair Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Issues have lt. trace of aging but remain clean and Exc. overall. Great lot with exceptional content.
