Item Description
3.5x4x15" tall painted composition. Base has embossed letters w/silver luster reading "Hopalong Cassidy" and sides read "Timex." Lettering below reads "Shock-Resistant Wristwatches" on front and "Fully Guaranteed" on sides. Back of base has black "These Sales Aids Must Be Used For The Display Of Timex Watches Only." Nicely painted and detailed figure of Hoppy w/accents to face, bolo tie, belt buckle, guns, bullets, etc. Even the tops of his boots are highlighted in silver luster. Bullets are accented all the way around back of belt. Scarf in bolo tie is also accented. Very lt. crazing noticeable on close inspection, mostly to small area on front of neck and scattered areas on pants. Hat, face, shirt, hands, guns show very little wear. c. 1950s. Very nicely made in a very appealing and Exc. condition. From the Hake collection.
