Item Description
4.25x8x5" tall red painted steel radio. Front has embossed foil image of Hoppy and Topper w/name below dial. Western theme of cactus and wagons in bkg. Front area is slightly uneven but silver luster remains bright. Back of radio has stamped image of a saddle w/initials "HC." Comes w/long cord and long wire antenna. Radio hums but uncertain if capable of picking up AM stations. Very lt. surface wear. Overall VF. Comes w/5.5x8.5" four-page instructions. Cover reads "Hopalong Cassidy Radio Operating Instructions" and have message from Hoppy below bw picture of Hoppy and Topper. Art illustrations of Hoppy on inside explain operation and features of radio. Front cover has horizontal crease and lt. surface dust. Lot also includes 5.5x14" ad cut from magazine. Ad states original price was $16.95. Arvin Industries, Columbus, Ind. Overall VF w/rare instruction folder.
