Auction #202 - Part II
Item numbers 1554 through 3213 in auction 202
Item Description
c. 1930s. 12.75" tall hollow painted plaster. This variety has him with fists beating on chest and head tilted in air with mouth open as if he is roaring while standing next to large palm tree trunk. There are 2 distinct versions, the other is 13.5" tall showing him with fists at side standing next to shorter palm tree. We are showing both for catalogue purposes but we are only selling variety with fists on chest. Scattered lt. wear here and there with several pin point dots of missing paint most noticeable on left leg and back area. Overall VF. Wonderful design and nicely painted.
