Item Description
Includes 1 3/8x1.75" 1947 laminated plastic badge with art image of pilot with helmet with large wing on side, 2" cello 1948 "Temporary Permit" badge, and 1.5" laminated plastic badge with art of plane flying around checkboard post with text at bottom " 40th Anniversary International Air Racing." 1949 was the last year the event was held due to an accident which killed a mother and child when plane crashed into house. 1948 badge has a few surface bumps. Fine. 1947 and 1949 badges have bit of tanning on reverse sides. VF. Nice group.
