Item Description
c. 1940s. Lot of 14, 1.5" x 2". Each has choice graphics on front with plane in action w/text on reverse "Bond Bread Vitamin-Enriched for Better Health". Made by Lyon Match Company, Inc. N. Y. All are different but there are two varieties of Buccaneer and Vindicator. One Buccaneer has Bond Bread loaf on front with plane on back with text "Ship Board Fighter Bomber". Other Buccaneer is titled "Scout Bomber". One Vindicator has Bond Bread loaf on front with "Carrier-Based Dive Bomber" name on reverse while second Vindicator is titled "Scout Bomber". Other planes include Wildcat, Mariner, Corsair, Hell Diver, Devastator. Some lt. aging but overall all are VF. Complete and unused. Nice graphics.
