Item Description
Each 1944, published by U.S. Government Printing Office. First poster opens to 19-7/8x26" w/text "Award For Careless Talk" w/nice illustration by Steven Dohanos, showing hand w/swastika ring putting down Iron Cross medal. Second poster opens to 20x28" w/text "Less Dangerous Than Careless Talk" w/nice illustration by Albert Dorne, showing rattlesnake dripping blood from mouth. Each has same text across bottom "Don't Discuss Troop Movements-Ships Sailings-War Equipment". Each poster has a few lt. handling creases, classic "Award" poster has Exc. image area. Rattlesnake poster has seam split at top fold repaired on reverse w/clear tape. VG. Classic images by two top illustrators of the day, with brief text bio on back of each poster.
