c. 1955-1960. 1-3/8x4.25x10.25" wide thin cardboard box has nice top and underside lid graphics of Roy riding Trigger and holding pistol in Double R Bar ranch corral. Designed for use with Kilgore Disc Mammoth Caps with instructions on underside. Box held No. 77 model nickel finish gun with revolving cylinder, white grips and engraving. Box has some dust soil, left side panel is dented and front panel has splits at side seams. Top is VG. Gun is uncommon, box is scarce. Nice design. See smaller gun that used roll caps #2749.
