Item Description
All c. 1930s-1940s by Wesley Morse, known for art on Bazooka Joe Gum comics. Sizes range from 2 1/8x4" to 3x4 3/8". Titles include “Oh Doctor!, A Scotch Man’s Hole In One, Par For The Course, A Sailor Finds Out If It’s True What They Say About Chinese Girls, It Happened On The Flying Trapeze, No Sale, The Perfect Host!, It Started In The Subway And Ended In The Bronx, Room Service, and It Was Perfect”. Six titles have non-related art on back covers. Covers have trace of lt. dust soil with a few small creases. Subway title is more heavily worn and just Good. Rest are Fine/VF. Extremely well drawn and funny.
