Item Description
Wooden cane is 34.75" tall with metal tip at bottom and removal handle. Top has nice decal showing Trylon and Perisphere. Right side of cane has 14" long slot exposing tin strip which has attached spring-loaded glazed cotton silk-screened map by noted cartoonist Tony Sarg with art of fairgrounds and exhibit area with text list on bottom. Map pulls out 15.5" and is 13.5" tall. Map extends about 5/6th of the way and shows all main areas. Map is worn at right side and has a few tears at right edge from being pulled out, metal strip is crimped at end and has slight bend. VG. Cane has scattered lt. wear but is Fine. Wonderful concept. Wooden swagger stick is 21.5" long with bakelite top and nice decal showing Trylon and Perisphere with fireworks in background. Decal is missing a few tiny pieces at lower left side. Fine. Stick has a few minor color rubs with very mild warp. VF. Nice items for display.
