Item Description
Four items. Sizes range from 9x24" to 10.25x28". All are 1930s published by Curtiss Show Print Continental, Ohio. First two have same design for "Tex Ella’s Wild West Big Tent Show". Graphics include large circus tents, broncho busting cowboys, and three cowgirls. Next two posters are both two-sided. First is for "All’s Wild West and Beverly Circus" with graphics of circus tents and broncho busters with text including "Admission Lowest Ever Heard of With Any Show/The Original Bucking Automobile Bucks Like a Texas Bucking Horse". Reverse side has image of cowgirl on horseback with text "Cowboys! Cowgirls! Indians!". Fourth poster is titled "Jesse The Missouri Outlaw James" with front art images of large theater-style tent, Jesse James robbing bank and about to shoot man as cowgirl protests. Lower left has text, "Vaudeville Specialties Between Acts!". Reverse side has art image at top of two large tents, photo of "Oklahoma Cowboy Band" and art of a prison riot. Heralds were designed to be folded and mailed to area residents prior to shows appearance. These are unfolded and Exc. Wonderful designs.
