Item Description
14x17". Issued for his 1930 re-election campaign. Never folded. Very minor .75" hairline on text at right with archival tape repair on blank reverse. Text on right of map explains "Jackson County's Never Had A County Court With Such A Record Of Achievement In Road Building And General Efficiency As The County Court Presided Over By Judge Harry S. Truman..." Second paragraph goes on to explain achievements within the county. Concludes in the final paragraph that "Judge Harry S. Truman has been the moving and guiding spirit. He should be reelected and should have a harmonious court for the further programs he is sponsoring." Text goes on to list the Democratic ticket with "For Presiding Judge County Court: Harry S. Truman" along with two other county court positions. Map is presented by and concludes "Respectfully Submitted, Friends of Judge Truman." Very limited issue. First we've seen. Exc.
