Item Description
Each is 5x7" on stiff card. The first one offered reads "The Inaugural Anniversary Committee/Requests The Pleasure Of Your Company At The/Second Inaugural Salute/Honoring The President And Mrs. Kennedy/And/The Vice President And Mrs. Johnson/Friday The Eighteenth Of January/One Thousand Nine Hundred And Sixty Three/At The National Guard Armory In Washington." The second one offered was intended to celebrate the "Third Inaugural Salute" on Jan. 23, 1964 and sponsored by "The Democratic Anniversary Committee." Obviously this was printed prior to November of 1963 when JFK was assassinated. Faint age tone on right and bottom margins of the card dated 1964. Limited issues. Rare. Both are N. Mint.
