Item Description
Hake #TP3051. 2x5.5" with early style safety pin hand sewn on reverse at top. Gold luster is worn but lettering is readable as "Prohibition Party/Genl. Fisk/And/Dr. Brooks." Center has pair of sepia real photos glued on. Tiny text on photo's top edge reads "Stamp Portraits/C.H. Gallup Poughkeepsie, N.Y." Fisk has about 1/8" area of surface paper off his forehead, upper left background and suit lapel at left. Brooks has narrow sliver off upper right and 3/8" diagonal hairline paper split along left side of head. Fabric has 3 horizontal lines of slight weave separations at top just below the gilt panel but still very intact overall. A rare ribbon with Hake 2004 Guide value of $500. Comes with second ribbon. 2x4.5" reading "Prohibition Ballots." This is also likely from 1888. Small separations across bottom but only to depth of .25". Pair.
