Item Description
c.1955 Japan. 5.5x5.75x2" deep cardboard box has nice lid graphics of toys inside on lid top and front and back panel art of stagecoach and wagon being attacked by Indians. Box color is a bit faded and lid has wear around edges with split at lower left corner and 1.25" seam split in same area. Right side panel is missing 3/8x1" diagonal piece. Good/Fine. Each toy is 5" long tin litho and depicts Davy as the driver holding string reins attached to a pair of horses. Stagecoach includes images of passengers at windows, luggage on roof. Wagon includes images of rifles, pick axe and arrows. Back of wagon has text “Remember The Alamo”. Rubber tires on metal wheels show some stress lines with two small pieces off but does not affect operation. Toys otherwise working and Exc. Nicely designed.
