c.late 1940s-early 1950s. Vanities box is 5/8x2.5x3.5" “Poker Size” with 6 of spades card on back with pretty brunette in transparent skimpy outfit wearing high heels smiling at viewer. Made by "Western World Playing Card Company St. Louis". Box has lt. dust soil and trace of lt. wear around edges, still has portion of revenue stamp at top flap. Box is VF, deck is complete with 52 cards, all with different Vargas images plus two jokers, one of which has Vargas biography. Second set is double card deck in original 4x5.5x1" deep box titled “Comme Ci, Comme Ca!” which translates from the French to “Anything Goes”.Box is marked on top "Seasons Greetings Lewis National Corp. Boston Mass." Box features nice large image of red-headed Vargas girl reclining with hat and sunglasses smiling at viewer. Foil around box sides is missing in a few areas and box has some dust soil. VG. All three card decks are complete, clean and Exc. All three feature the same set of Vargas pinup images. Classic images by one of the top pinup artists in history.
