Item Description
Each is 7.25x8 1/8" with 72 bw pages with cardboard covers. Numbers and titles include: #1200 "The Captain and the Kids", #1202 "Captain Easy and Wash Tubbs", #1203 soft cover "Ella Cinders", and #1204 "Freckles and His Friends". Two have Famous Funnies title on cover and two have Famous Comics title on front cover. All are published by Whitman and three hard cover varieties have list of other titles on last page as well as list of Big Little books already published. Covers have some lt. dust soil here and there with bit of wear around edges and corner tips. First inside page of Captain Easy title has pencil writing including “Foo To You” and inside back cover and blank back cover have pencil drawings and scribblings. Freckles title has some moisture marks on blank back cover. Overall covers VG, insides Fine/VF. Captain Easy hard cover variety is much scarcer than soft cover version. Scarce as a complete set.
