Item Description
23.5" tall overall c. mid 1940s. By "Haydon Mfg. Co. Inc. Torrington Conn." Nice detailed design with smiling topless hula girl in cast metal with copper highlights. Lamp has three setting switch for light and skirt motion or combination of both. 17.5" dia. original shade made of thin early flexible vinyl has fabric fringe around bottom matching fringe around skirt, and plastic floral decorations around top rim. Lamp works well. Copper finish has aged but aged areas blend w/dark finish well. Only defect on lamp itself is tiny 3-way .5" crow's foot crack at back of one foot. This has stabilized and does not affect lamp to any extent. Shade top decor has aging but nice overall. Shade is Fine, figure has near Exc. appearance. Great example of 1940s-early 1950s over-the-top home decor. Great for display.
