Item Description
11x17" thin cardboard for “Albuquerque Journal” c.1977. Classic image of full figure Spider-Man at right with web designs in boarders includes text “America’s Number One Superhero Joins The Comic Pages Of The Albuquerque Journal Daily 15¢ Sunday 25¢” with additional text “By Stan Lee + John Romita”. The strip debuted in January 1977 and the earliest installments were by Lee and Romita. Upper right has pair of lt. green moisture marks, one is .25" and the other is .5". Upper left corner has faint 2" diagonal crease. Overall Fine/VF with bright color and wonderful image. Very limited distribution. Great for display.
