Item Description
Lot of 12, each 12x19" paper issued by Marvel in-house fan club Foom. c.1974. Posters include Fantastic Four #82, The Amazing Spider-Man #68, Captain America #111, The Avengers #4, The Incredible Hulk #1, Dare-Devil #44, The Mighty Thor #127, Nick Fury Agent of Shield #6, Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos #50, Conan #4, The Silver Surfer #3, and Sub-Mariner #1. Artists include Kirby, Steranko, Windsor-Smith, Buscema, Colan, & Severin. The Foom fan club was created by Stan Lee and Jim Steranko and membership could be had for $2.50. Foom published 22 quarterly issues between February 1973 and February 1978 and these posters were only available through Foom. Conan poster has a few tiny creases across top blank margin and upper right corner has tiny tear in blank area otherwise group is Exc. Superb graphics throughout.
