Item Description
4x9.5" envelope for E. H. Karl & Co. Grocery Brokers postmarked Feb. 26, 1938 Peoria, Ill. and sent to Miller Cereal Mills located in Omaha, Neb. Lower left corner features a 1.75x2" advertising sticker featuring Chan w/Van Camp's sponsoring the radio program. Sticker is still affixed to the envelope w/top two corners slightly loose. The sticker shows some very minor wear but is overall VF. The mailing envelope is Fine w/some minor soiling and creases. The original stamp was removed from the envelope leaving some traces of soiling. The back of the envelope is missing the flap and also exhibits soiling from where it was once sealed. An interesting envelope which appears to have been used by the Grocery Brokers to promote Van Camp's and also Charlie Chan.
