New York no. 60 ©1947 Famous Artists Syndicate. 7x9x2.25" deep thin cardboard box has nice lid graphics of Tracy, Junior and Pat and front and back panels are each designed like film strip with images of Tracy investigating crime. Underside of box has instructional graphics. Die-cut thin cardboard insert features five well-drawn different images of Tracy in action and holds plastic film viewer and two illustrated boxes of films. Boxes are for Dick Tracy's series no. 2 and 3 but films inside are no. 1 and no. 2. Boxes feature art of Dick Tracy, the Lone Ranger, and Terry from Terry and the Pirates. Box lid has pulled totally loose and has piece cut out of upper left and lt. creasing across top o/w box is VG. Red insert is Fine. Large sized viewer is missing clear window on back otherwise VF. Box films are Exc. A rare large-sized variety with 16mm films. Nice graphics throughout.
