Item Description
c. 1940s made by Colmor. 5.5x20" tall lithographed tin bass drum has large paper drum head with great art image of smiling Gene waving his hat from back of rearing up Champion. Tin sides have colorful repeat patterns of squares. Gene side of drum is paper, other drum head is cloth. Drum heads are held in place with metal springs. Comes with 6" dia. smaller drum titled "Bango Band" with graphics on top of happy boy beating drum as puppy howls in foreground. Pair also includes 5" dia. tin cymbal. Large drum has repairs to both sides but still displays Fine. Small drum has a few punctures on both paper surfaces with small tears. VG. Cymbal has scattered lt. wear but is Fine. Complete with cymbal hanging rod and wing nuts for attachment of small drum to bass drum. Set includes two wooden drumsticks. Nice for display.
