15x 10.5” award c.1936-37 Jimmie Allen Air Races First Place Junior Flight Award Mankato, Minnesota. Produced by Josten Trophy from Owatonna, Minnesota as noted by small metal plate on reverse of award. Features large metal relief image with Skelly Oil logo. Nameplate was not engraved with winners name and may have been up to the winner to have plate engraved. Wood award shows some surface wear, but does not distract from the awards overall appearance FN. Unique and first we’ve seen.
