Item Description
Each is 6.75x9.75" Vol. 2 #2 June issue has 144 pages with front cover art by H.W. Wesso illustrating Hugh B. Cave story "Strangella" ghost ship story. Contents include Robert E. Howard's Conan story "People Of The Dark" and stories by Clark Ashton Smith and August Derleth. Letters from readers section has one reader requesting more stories by Howard. Back of contents page has adhered to inside front cover in center. Covers have scattered edge wear and creasing, small piece is gone from spine tip, inside pages are lightly tanned at edges. Back cover has dust soil with edge tears. Overall covers Good, inside is Fine. Vol. 2 #3 issue for Oct. has cover art by Wesso depicting monster startling man in library who is looking at book which has image of similar monster. Cover is based on Clark Ashton Smith story "The Hunters From Beyond." Other authors include Hugh B. Cave and Frank B. Long. Covers have creasing and edge wear with small tears, inside front cover has a 3x7" moisture mark and first page has a 1.5" diagonal tear at bottom right. Pages are lightly but evenly tanned. Overall covers Good, inside is Fine/VF. Great reading and nice interior art throughout both issues by noted illustrator Amos Sewell.
