4 5/8x7.75" manila mailer has “Gene Autry” name on label. Has return address of Wilane Watch Corp. NY. Envelope is postmarked May 16, 1950 but watch was first issued in 1948. Envelope is worn around edges and postmark label partially obscures watch name. VG. First we’ve seen. 3.75x6.75x1" deep cardboard box has nice lid photo of Gene on rearing Champion with text “Gene Autry Watch With His Horse Champion Of The Flying A Ranch” and side panel text “Always, Your Pal-Gene Autry”. Box has scattered lt. wear with surface dust soil and color rubs, right side panel has vertical split in center. Upper center of lid is creased, mostly visible on inside. Still tight and VG. Insert repeats image on lid top. Has a tiny tear at center left and right edges. Fine. Complete with guarantee paper which is scarce and Fine. 1x1.25" silver luster case watch has nice art image on dial of Gene on rearing Champion and case back reads “Always Your Pal-Gene Autry”. Fabric band has some aging. Fine. Case has much luster wear. VG. Crystal is yellowed with age. Dial has moderate aging. VG. Can be wound but not running. Nice for display.
