Four items all from the 1930s and relating to Kamen employee Ruth Ivener. In 1932 a major change in Disney licensing occurred with the appearance of Kay Kamen. Kamen convinced Walt that licensing could open up whole new vistas for the company. For the next 17 years, until he died in a plane crash, Kamen handled the licensing of Disney merchandise. First is env. postmarked 1936 with Mikey image and revised address of Sixth Ave. NY. Edge tears with tape repairs on inside, missing back flap. VG. Next is 5.5x7.5" stationery with Ruth's name and address of Kansas City, Mo. Border design features classic images of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Horace and Clarabelle. Trace of aging/magin wear. Unused, Fine. Final items are two different business cards. One is for Ruth as President & Treasurer with Chicago address while the other is Vice President with NY address. Both feature Mickey images. Fine/VF. Nice group and scarce.
