2.5x5.5x4.5” tall ceramic depicting Mickey asleep in a chair. Unmarked but 1930s by Crown Devon, an English company that produced a few very rare Mickey figural items. Designed with a slightly recessed area at front for holding a votive-style candle and comes with the correct vintage boxed candle made by Price of London. The candle has a waxed stiff paper band w/wrap-around design featuring images of Mickey, Donald and Pluto carrying candles. Aged but unused. The box has character images on all sides. Scattered aging, Fine. Candle holder has some aging to the paint and wear to the surface of recessed area but easily hidden when candle is in place. Other small traces of paint wear on Mickey/base edges. Fine. Rare, especially with a boxed candle. The pair combine to make for an exceptional display.
