From 1934 by Marks Bros. Co. who produced a number of different Mickey paint and coloring sets. This is set in 11x16x1.5" deep box. Great image of Mickey painting a picture of Minnie is repeated on both the lid and box insert. Box shows wear/aging with some corner/edge splits that have clear tape repairs, edge creases. VG and retains vibrant color. Attached to insert are 12 paint tablets, set also has paint brush, water dishes, six crayons w/illustrated Mickey labels. Final item is 4x15" four panel comic strip titled "Mickey Makes A Happy Landing." Great aviation theme art featuring "The Spirit Of Mouseville" plane. First panel has been neatly colored, bit of coloring to the rest. Insert has aging and some paint staining around the paint tablets. One crayon broken but rest show little to no use.
