Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
1.25" gorgeous color scene of brown and white horses pulling a man seated on his mower. Text reads at top "In Walter A. Wood Machines" with below "You Get Reliability." Button front displays essentially Mint except for short 1/8" surface scratch at top. However, viewed from the bottom side edge there is a 3/16x1" long narrow sliver of celluloid missing apparently because the button paper with celluloid covering was not of sufficient diameter to cover this bottom metal edge. Nothing is actually coming loose and no bare metal shows at all when the piece is viewed from the front. Reverse has W&H paper used only 1898-1900. Backpaper has some light soil. Button still displays N. Mint and a very rare design.
