Item Description
8.25" tall ribbon badge with mint brass luster on the metal parts and mint silver lettering on the fabric all accented by brass tassels. Reverse done in black and silver to serve as a funeral badge. Front of the piece has cello panel inscribed "Member" above ornate brass shell frame holding 1.25" celluloid reading "Patrons Of Husbandry." Cello has four exceedingly faint gray marks but piece still displays N. Mint. Bright silver text designates "Elliott Prairie/Grange/No. 514/Elliot Prairie, Ore." This fraternal organization for American farmers was founded in 1867 with this item being c. 1900.
