Item Description
21x25" glossy paper poster w/great photo taken from July 1, 1969 bed-in in which the song "Give Peace A Chance" was recorded. At center seated on a bed are John and Yoko and John is shown playing acoustic guitar. There are microphones on either side of the bed and at the right facing them is Tommy Smothers, also playing a guitar. In the foreground are Timony Leary and his wife Rosemary Woodruff. In the bkg. are many flowers plus homemade "Peace" signs. Bottom margin has printed title "Give Peace A Chance." Additional margin text includes "Frank Kay Distributors Inc./Hollywood, Calif." plus 1969 copyright. Poster has overall scattered minor handling marks although only visible in reflected light and appearance is glossy and Exc. Great poster.
